Small Fixes Create Big Results

Small Fixes Create Big Results

June 18, 20262 min read

This week's Let Go Boss coaching call focused on something every entrepreneur experiences: the small technical issues that quietly stop your business from growing.

From booking calendars to video testimonials, Basim coached Nicole through practical solutions that can immediately improve customer experience and generate more trust online.

Your Website Should Work While You Sleep

Nicole shared that visitors were filling out her booking form, but they weren't receiving a booking calendar and she wasn't getting any notifications.

Instead of assuming the system was broken, Basim walked through the troubleshooting process:

  • Verify Google Calendar is connected.

  • Check calendar settings.

  • Confirm video conferencing integration.

  • Ensure booking notifications are enabled.

  • Test the booking page from the visitor's perspective.

Sometimes a single disconnected setting can cost you valuable leads.

Make Testimonials Easier to Collect

One of the biggest takeaways from the call was using the built-in Video Collector feature.

Rather than scheduling Zoom calls and manually recording testimonials, clients can simply record a testimonial directly from their phone using a shareable link.

The process is simple:

  • Create a Video Collector.

  • Customize a few questions.

  • Share the link with clients.

  • Receive testimonials automatically.

Removing friction makes it easier for happy clients to leave reviews.

Improve Every Testimonial

Basim also reviewed Nicole's latest testimonial video and shared a few quick improvements:

  • Add a solid background behind subtitles to improve readability.

  • Include a short title above the speaker highlighting the result.

  • Keep edits simple and easy to follow.

Small editing improvements can dramatically increase viewer engagement.

Test Before You Publish

A recurring message throughout the coaching session was to test everything before sending it to clients.

Whether it's:

  • A booking calendar

  • A contact form

  • A testimonial collection link

  • Notifications

Always experience it exactly as your customer would.

Testing prevents lost opportunities and creates a smoother client experience.

Keep Moving Forward

Nicole also shared that she would be traveling soon but remained committed to making progress.

Basim encouraged her to focus on completing a few high-impact tasks rather than trying to do everything at once.

The action plan for the week included:

  • Fix the booking calendar.

  • Publish the improved testimonial.

  • Set up the Video Collector.

  • Send it to three clients.

  • Collect more testimonials.

  • Embed them on the website.

Consistent action beats perfect planning.

Final Thought

Business growth doesn't always come from launching something new.

Sometimes growth comes from fixing what's already there.

A working booking system, clear testimonial videos, and an easy way for clients to share their success stories can generate more trust, more bookings, and more sales than constantly chasing the next big idea.

Keep improving. Keep testing. Keep building.
